From repairing an umbrella with the city’s last umbrella maker to weaving Slovenian wool, printing with historic presses and shaping clay on a potter’s wheel, the Creative Handicraft Workshops turn traditional crafts into hands-on experiences.  

Led by local artisans, the workshops give visitors more than a souvenir. They offer a closer connection to the knowledge, stories and skills behind Ljubljana’s cultural heritage while supporting the craftspeople who continue to practise and pass them on.
