Cross the bridge, carry its history forward

Hidden within Bobrava Nature Park, a medieval stone bridge stood for centuries before years of neglect left it close to collapse. Instead of letting it disappear, local residents, heritage experts and municipalities came together to restore it, and invited visitors to become part of the effort. 

Cyclists and hikers following popular trails can stop, scan a QR code and contribute directly to the restoration fund, while others join volunteer days to help care for the bridge and its surrounding landscape. A simple visit becomes an opportunity to preserve local heritage rather than simply admire it. 

The result reaches beyond the bridge itself. The project has brought new attention to nearby villages, supported local businesses and strengthened community pride in a place that was almost lost. Every visitor leaves knowing they have helped ensure this piece of history can be crossed for generations to come.
